Nice to meet you!

My interests in science and nature as well as having a compassion in helping people is what brought me to becoming a Naturopathic Doctor. My journey started at University of Manitoba where I studied Microbiology. This exposed me to a lot of research in autoimmune disorders, the microbiome of the gut and how extraordinary our bodies are at healing. Then moving away to Toronto and graduating from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in 2018 fueled my knowledge in natural therapies.

I’m a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community where I do my best to make time being involved with community events and awareness. Getting to know and bettering the lives of any individual and of any pronoun is my goal. I have previous experience at Sherbourne Health Centre’s HIV+ clinic, Naturopathic Doctors International Clinic in Nicaragua and the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic at CCNM.

Chronic autoimmune conditions are very complicated and most times not treated/managed properly. My interest in such conditions came from this fact but also in having studied the immune system for many years. There is so much that can be done to improve symptoms and live a life where you can do all the things you love without struggle.

When not seeing patients you will most often see me hiking various trails in Ontario while identifying various medicinal plants and taking photos. Or enjoying the various events, markets and restaurants in Toronto. Living a life eating good food, being active, enjoying what you love and being kind to one another are my mantras.

Being healthy and happy is unique to each individual. The same diet, lifestyle changes, natural medicines and social networks vary from person to person. Let’s figure out together how we can support your physical body and your mind to create an optimal self.
